Annual Booksale
PROMOTING LITERACY IN OUR COMMUNITY
Since 1955
A Community Event
Every Memorial Holiday Weekend, our Rotary Club hosts the Annual Book
Sale- an event renowned in the community. Our books come directly from community donations. It's a special partnership that we will always value.
Community Support
100% of the proceeds from our Annual Book Sale are put right back into the community! The Book Sale allows us to continue our charitable service, near and far. Some of the projects the proceeds benefit include:
- Teacher mini grants and student scholarships
- Providing support to the unhoused and our local seniors
- Supporting orphanages in Thailand and Malawi
- Humanitarian aid to communities in Central and South America
- and so much more!
Literacy For All
Our Annual Book Sale is a community favorite because it promotes literacy for all! We sell gently used books for just a few dollars each, making literature available to just about everyone. From children's books to cookbooks to fiction and non-fiction alike, we celebrate literacy throughout our community. Visit us each Memorial Weekend at the Ralphs parking lot (corner of Sepulveda and Howard Drollinger Way) for the Book Sale!
